Turn-Back Tuesday: the 1989 Honda Accord Coupe

We love us a retro review, folks, and this time we have something you may have completely forgotten about: the 1989 Honda Accord Coupe! Boasting brilliantly 80's aesthetics and among the first of the Japanese automaker's cars built in America, it's a real looker and we can't take our eyes off it. Of course, despite being a two-door sporty-looking car, the review makes a note to point out that it's not a racecar for kids but rather a classy car for adults.

The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine kicks out a hearty 90 horsepower, it has a four-speed automatic transmission, and - not surprisingly - the MotorWeek drivers were unimpressed with its acceleration. Take a look at it below and be thankful we live in a time where the current Accord is such a masterpiece of design, performance, and fun!
